Over the years we have developed many different products that addressed particular
issues or market needs (eg. Q-Box and Q-Trap). Our workshop can manufacture many
of the components that will be needed during the construction process. We have the
enviable capacity to build what we design.

STUDIO DESIGN
Our design approach focuses on creating the best possible acoustics for each
environment and budget. We incorporate superior esthetics into every room but our
priority is always audio performance and ergonomics. The objective is to combine
accurate monitoring with an environement that provides elegance, comfort and inspiration.
Sound quality in a control room reveals itself in many aspects such as frequency
response, reverb time, imaging, phase response and so on. The complex interaction
of all these parameters means that a cookie cutter approach is not efficient in studio
design neither in terms of budget nor performance. Every project requires careful
analysis so that the absolute best performance can be obtained from each situation.
Essentially we think of the speakers and all other aspects of a room as single entity
that needs to be finely tuned for critical listening.
Studio design is often perceived as a bit of a black art. In reality, science and a
thorough understanding of sound behavior is essential to bring about a successful and

HOME THEATRES
From time to time we are approached by clients who want to build a dedicated
entertainment room that requires superior sound and isolation from the rest of the
building. As with all our designs we work to create a synergy between quality, comfort
and esthetics.
Our studio background is perfectly suited to providing high end home theater design.
We can seamlessly integrate 7.1 surround sound systems, projectors, screens as well
as programable hand held devices that will control every aspect of your room.
Our aim is to deliver great picture with superior acoustics for a complete audio visual
experience.
FURNITURE
We own and operate a fully equipped workshop and are in the enviable position
of being able to build everything we design. We are typically involved with the layout
and construction of the most demanding custom studio furniture projects.
We have a long track record of manufacturing pieces of the highest quality designed to
meet the challenges of the modern studio workflow.
SOUNDPROOFING
Resolving noise issues requires firstly to correctly assess the causes of the problem
through careful measurement and analysis and secondly the knowledge to know what
techniques and specialty materials to use to rectify the problem.
We have years of experience in tackling and resolving all sorts of noise transmission
issues. Commercial and residential spaces like condominiums, stores, practice rooms,
machinery and workshops, are all areas that have required our services in the past.
This is an areas where it is crucial to get expert advice as doing the job twice can be
extremely costly.
WIRING
The planning of audio wiring, patch bays, lighting, conduits and clean electrical supply is
a regular part of our services. They are addressed at the design stage with our wiring
technician. The diagrams and blueprints produced shows the complete signal flow from
performance to final recording medium.
EQUIPMENT
We have an extensive understanding of professional audio equipment, from vintage units to the
latest digitally controlled mixing desks. We take the time to really understand how our clients like
to work and help them integrate their equipment into a system that will be relevant for years to come.
Q-Box
The professional solution...when the only sounds you want to hear
are the ones you're recording.
Sophisticated noise suppression design and excellent heat extraction
properties that can handle the latest and more demanding computers.
Ideal for audio and video production environments.
Q-Trap
A range of sound traps that provide quick solutions to basic room
problems. Ultra-Q Traps use multi-layered membrane design, making
them more effective than acoustical foam, particularly in the lower
range of the frequency spectrum.
All traps are available in custom sizes and finishes. Each trap has a
mounting fixture for hanging on walls or ceilings.
The Q1 is a wall treatment trap aimed at controlling primary reflections
and flutter echo. It can also be used for general room control or bass
trapping depending on position. (Dimensions: 65cmx125cmx11cm; Weight:
9kg.)
The Q2 is a larger format trap, with the same properties as the Q1.
